as a public way a driveway be constructed in front <strong>of</strong> the estate <strong>of</strong> 19 Pit-<br />

man street and the expense so incurred to be charged to street.<br />

Alderman Grattan <strong>of</strong>fered the following orders,<br />

Ordered:<br />

The city engineer is hereby requested to fur-<br />

nish this Board with information as to. what is cau8ing_the_de.lay_.ln putting<br />

the l/ien street playground in condition, as the city appropriated $800. to<br />

recondition this playground.<br />

His honor-the Mayor Ja hereby requested to pro-<br />

vide that all police <strong>of</strong>ficers be given an equal opportunity to serve on extra<br />

duty and that no plain-clothes <strong>of</strong>ficer be allowed to do any extra duty in<br />

uniform.<br />

That two electric lights <strong>of</strong> suitable candle<br />

one at the foot <strong>of</strong> the stairs leading fron Washington street,<br />

one at the back stop near Perry street<br />

The expense so incurred to be charged to Street Lighting Account.<br />
