Order transferring $1,000.00 from Legislative Council account<br />

to the Law Department, which at the meeting <strong>of</strong> March 31, further action was<br />

delayed under section 15 <strong>of</strong> the city charter, received action as follows:<br />

the table and again laid on the table on motion <strong>of</strong> Aid. Gobron until the<br />

next meeting.<br />

Order for the issuance <strong>of</strong> $100,000. Equipment for Collection<br />

<strong>of</strong> Ashes and Debris Bonds, which at the meeting <strong>of</strong> March 31 was laid on the<br />

table, received action as followst<br />

taken from the table and on motion <strong>of</strong> Aid. Carr laid on the table.<br />

which at the meeting <strong>of</strong> Feb.. 27 was laid on the table until the city clerk<br />

has obtained an opinion from the city solicitor, was<br />

table.<br />

Taken from the table and after discussion again laid on the<br />

Resolution relative to amendment to Senate Bill 506, which<br />

at the meeting <strong>of</strong> March 13, further action was delayed under .Section 15, re-<br />

ceived action as follows:<br />

Ordinance amending Sect. 8 chapter 29 <strong>of</strong> Revised Ordinances<br />

deferred under the rules, until the ordinance shall have been printed and a<br />

copy laid on the desk <strong>of</strong> each alderman, received action as follows:<br />

Alderman, the question came on passing the ordinance to be enrolled. At this<br />

point a vote to refer the ordinance to the Legislative Committee was lost 11<br />

to 3. Aid. Stynes then made a motion that the ordinance be laid on the ta-<br />

ble and the city clerk be instructed to notify the <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>of</strong> the Boston<br />

Elevated Railway Co. to appear before the full board on Thursday May 8,1930.<br />

Petition George Davis for storage <strong>of</strong> 4000 gallons gasoline<br />

1298-1500 Broadway, which at the last meeting further action was delayed un-<br />

der section 15, was<br />

Taken from the table and on motion <strong>of</strong> Aid. Rafferty referred<br />

back to the Committee on Licenses and Permits.<br />
