The Committee on Public Works is hereby re-
quested to consider the advisability of reconstructing Beacon street from
Somerville avenue to the Cambridge line with permanent pavement.

Alderman Perry offered the following orders,

Tha t the city solicitor be epdeped to furni sh
the Board of Aldermen with an opinion in reference to the legality of the
appointment of a Legislative Counsel .
Question came on -the adoption of the order. On motion of
Alderman Stynes the .word "requested" was substituted for the word "ordered"
and the order was adopted..

Question came on the adoption of the order. On motion of

Alderman Sherman offered the following order,
Ordered:
The Committee on Electric Lines and Lights is
hereby requested to consider the advisability of installing three (5) street
lights for lighting the Walter Ernest Shaw Playground, two (2) 600 candle
power and one (1) 1500 candle power as per plan, underground construction.
