To the Board of Aldermen of Somerville,
Gentlemen:
February 27, 1950
43691 _Ij_ the undersigned, a member of the Committee on Licenses and her-
mits, hereby dissent from the report of said committee, submitted this even-
ing, whereby it Is recommended that the petition of Beatrice Fowler for li-
cense to erect and use four underground steel tanks,for the storage of gaso-
line _at_J100_C^dar__stree_t_ be granted, and I respectfully report recommending
that the petitioner be given leave to withdraw.

Question came on substituting minority report for the majori-
ty report. The vote was by roll call, 6 aldermen voting in the affirmative,
14 aldermen voting in the negative, 1 alderman being ,absent and the minority
report was not substituted. The question then came on accepting the majority
report of Committee and granting of license. Aid. Gobron invoked Section 15
and further action delayed until the next meeting.
