Walter L. Groves a member of the police depart-
ment is hereby retired from active service and placed upon a pension roll to
receive as a pension one half tfie amount of compensation received by him as a
member of said department, the city physician having certified in writing that!
is permanently disabled, mentally or physically, by injuries sustained
through no fault of his own in the actual performance of duty, from further
performance of duty as such member, the expense so incurred to be charged to
Pensions Account.
