International/European dimension<br />

Profiles France<br />

Each of the programmes <strong>in</strong>cludes one module on European <strong>in</strong>stitutions <strong>and</strong> programmes given by<br />

specialists <strong>in</strong> the field. The <strong>in</strong>stitution also collaborates <strong>in</strong> several exchange programmes such as<br />

SOCRATES, AEGIS, RENAULT Foundation (with Japan) <strong>and</strong> ENCATC.<br />

Evaluation <strong>and</strong> assessment<br />

GAC: Student performance is evaluated through exam<strong>in</strong>ations, papers, research, a f<strong>in</strong>al paper/thesis<br />

<strong>and</strong> an <strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

Lecturers<br />

The number of teach<strong>in</strong>g personnel is 20, 11 of whom are women. Twelve are permanent <strong>and</strong> 8 are<br />

visit<strong>in</strong>g. The person responsible for the study programmes is Marie Claire Ricome.<br />

Entry requirements<br />

GAC:<br />

Applicants should have a university degree (a m<strong>in</strong>imum of 2 years after Bac) <strong>and</strong> should be at least 20<br />

years old. They should have a proven professional project acquired <strong>in</strong> their field of <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>and</strong> a<br />

general knowledge of the field. They should demonstrate an authentic lik<strong>in</strong>g for arts <strong>and</strong> culture, with<br />

practical <strong>cultural</strong> achievements <strong>in</strong> a professional project.<br />

CoMec:<br />

Applicants should have a m<strong>in</strong>imum diploma Bac+2 or an equivalent European diploma; or evidence of<br />

at least 3 years of appropriate experience. They should be at least 25 years of age.<br />

Student profile<br />

In GAC the c<strong>and</strong>idates have a university degree <strong>and</strong> often some experience <strong>in</strong> the <strong>cultural</strong> sector; they<br />

range from 22 to 28 years old. In CoMec the students are arts professionals. Students of GAC are<br />

from France <strong>and</strong> abroad. Students of CoMec are from France only.<br />
