The <strong>in</strong>stitution does not equip the students with skills that will qualify them for a specific job. Instead,<br />

it offers them theoretical <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>stitutional knowledge that will help them proceed to a higher level<br />

diploma (degree <strong>in</strong> research on theatre, or a diploma that will prepare them for jobs <strong>in</strong> <strong>management</strong>,<br />

produc<strong>in</strong>g, programm<strong>in</strong>g or communication <strong>in</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> <strong>in</strong>stitutions) or will prepare them for entrance<br />

exam<strong>in</strong>ations <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>stitutes for arts education.<br />

Duration<br />

2 years (1 year Licence, 1 year Maîtrise).<br />

Evaluation <strong>and</strong> assessment<br />

Student performance is evaluated through exam<strong>in</strong>ations, papers <strong>and</strong> practical work/<strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

Lecturers<br />

The number of teach<strong>in</strong>g personnel is 14, 6 of whom are women. Eleven are permanent <strong>and</strong> the rest<br />

are visit<strong>in</strong>g. The persons responsible for the study programmes are Bernadette Bost <strong>and</strong> Jean Caune.<br />

Entry requirements<br />

Applicants should have studied two years <strong>in</strong> University (diplôme DEUG) <strong>and</strong> have appropriate<br />

experience. Students who do not have a diploma but have professional experience may be accepted if<br />

they provide evidence of their professional background.<br />
