The tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g delivers the diploma "Kulturwirt" (<strong>cultural</strong> economist).<br />

Content<br />

Cultural studies are the specific part of the programme, the basic parts be<strong>in</strong>g: philosophy, economy,<br />

law, mathematics, <strong>in</strong>formatics, <strong>and</strong> foreign languages (two), economy of services <strong>and</strong> social economy,<br />

psychology <strong>and</strong> team <strong>management</strong>, communication.<br />

The tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g programme <strong>in</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> l<strong>and</strong>scape provides specific courses focused on a selected <strong>cultural</strong><br />

area: history, politics, sociology, l<strong>in</strong>guistics, literature, history of art, history of music, geography <strong>and</strong><br />

l<strong>and</strong>scape science. Students can choose English, French, Iberian, Italian, or Sud-Asiatic areas.<br />

Duration<br />

9 semesters.<br />

Special <strong>in</strong>formation<br />

Cultural l<strong>and</strong>scape studies offer students the opportunity to take a study trip of eight days to a<br />

selected area where they can receive deep knowledge of a <strong>cultural</strong> l<strong>and</strong>scape.<br />

International/European dimension<br />

The tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g is part of six different European programmes <strong>and</strong> there are connections with 36 European<br />

<strong>and</strong> non-European countries. A tra<strong>in</strong>eeship of 3 months <strong>in</strong> a foreign country is required.<br />

Entry requirements<br />

Students must be holders of a secondary school diploma.<br />

Student profile<br />

Students who wish to work <strong>in</strong> a <strong>cultural</strong> organisation specialized <strong>in</strong> regional development.<br />
