Profiles: Greece<br />

Sem<strong>in</strong>ars <strong>and</strong> programmes <strong>in</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> subjects:<br />

The sem<strong>in</strong>ars are ma<strong>in</strong>ly aimed at graduates <strong>and</strong> post-graduates. Professional experience is also taken<br />

<strong>in</strong>to account. However, there are some sem<strong>in</strong>ars that are directed at high school graduates,<br />

depend<strong>in</strong>g on the nature of the programme.<br />

Organisation <strong>and</strong> Promotion of Art <strong>and</strong> Cultural Events:<br />

Applicants should have a university degree. Professional experience <strong>and</strong> age may also be taken <strong>in</strong>to<br />

consideration.<br />

Student profile<br />

The average age of the participants is 23 (university graduates) <strong>and</strong> 20 (high school graduates).<br />

There are no <strong>in</strong>ternational students tak<strong>in</strong>g part <strong>in</strong> these programmes.<br />

Number of students admitted<br />

Maximum 25.<br />

Course fee<br />

Sem<strong>in</strong>ars <strong>and</strong> programmes <strong>in</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> subjects:<br />

On the whole, participants do not pay course fees, because the programmes are f<strong>in</strong>anced by the<br />

Greek M<strong>in</strong>istry of Labour <strong>and</strong> the European Union. The courses offered <strong>in</strong> co-operation with the City<br />

University have fees, but the amounts are not fixed.<br />

Organisation <strong>and</strong> Promotion of Art <strong>and</strong> Cultural Events:<br />

No fee, s<strong>in</strong>ce the programme is totally funded by the European Social Fund through the Greek M<strong>in</strong>istry<br />

of Labour.<br />
