Museum Plann<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> Exhibition Management I/II:<br />

Student performance is evaluated through a f<strong>in</strong>al paper/thesis <strong>and</strong> practical work/<strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

Lecturers<br />

An <strong>in</strong>ternational group of tra<strong>in</strong>ers is assembled for each project. Dr Dieter Bogner is responsible for<br />

the study programme (Museum Plann<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> Exhibition Management I/II).<br />

Entry requirements<br />

Acceptance is based on qualifications <strong>and</strong> personal <strong>in</strong>terviews.<br />

Student profile<br />

Students are usually between 23 <strong>and</strong> 35 years of age, <strong>and</strong> should have a degree <strong>in</strong> the humanities or<br />

arts. They are from Austria <strong>and</strong> abroad.<br />

Number of students admitted<br />

Museum Plann<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> Exhibition Management I/II - generally 20-25 students, but small groups of 5-<br />

10 participants are assembled for praxis-oriented projects.<br />

Cultural <strong>and</strong> curatorial studies, sem<strong>in</strong>ars <strong>and</strong> workshops - usually 20-25 students.<br />

Course fee<br />

Museum Plann<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> Exhibition Management I/II – None.<br />

Cultural <strong>and</strong> curatorial studies, sem<strong>in</strong>ars <strong>and</strong> workshops - Fees are determ<strong>in</strong>ed by project.<br />

Grants or other f<strong>in</strong>ancial support<br />

Grants are possible (students can apply to official <strong>in</strong>stitutions of the country where the activities take<br />

place).<br />
