Profiles: Germany<br />

As extracurricular activities, there are projects <strong>in</strong> art <strong>management</strong>, orchestra, theatre act<strong>in</strong>g, jazz <strong>and</strong><br />

danc<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Evaluation <strong>and</strong> assessment<br />

Student performance is evaluated through exam<strong>in</strong>ations, papers, a f<strong>in</strong>al paper/thesis <strong>and</strong> practical<br />

work/<strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

Lecturers<br />

The number of teach<strong>in</strong>g personnel is 40, 30 of whom are women. Fifteen are permanent <strong>and</strong> the rest<br />

are visit<strong>in</strong>g. The person responsible for the study programme is Dr Hermann Ayen.<br />

Entry requirements<br />

Applicants should have a secondary school certificate <strong>and</strong> a high school diploma (Abitur) plus an<br />

<strong>in</strong>ternship of at least three months. They should be between 18 <strong>and</strong> 30 years of age.<br />
