Programme requirements
Successful completion of the programme (180 ECTS) is determined by a variety of mandatory course
and elective course assessments throughout the study. These include tests, papers, and written
examinations.
This programme provides a theoretical and practical foundation aiming at a holistic understanding of
cultural processes and change. Students are prepared for work in the public or private sector, and in
combination with other studies, for work in journalism media, education, library, and management.
Grading scale from 1.0-6.0. Highest grade is 1.0. Lowest passing grade is 4.0.
The grading system will be changed as from the autumn term 2003, and the grades will be from A to
F. The highest grade will be A, and the lowest passing grade will be E.
Fees
NOK 800,- per semester.
