Programme requirements<br />

Successful completion of the programme (180 ECTS) is determ<strong>in</strong>ed by a variety of m<strong>and</strong>atory course<br />

<strong>and</strong> elective course assessments throughout the study. These <strong>in</strong>clude tests, papers, <strong>and</strong> written<br />

exam<strong>in</strong>ations.<br />

This programme provides a theoretical <strong>and</strong> practical foundation aim<strong>in</strong>g at a holistic underst<strong>and</strong><strong>in</strong>g of<br />

<strong>cultural</strong> processes <strong>and</strong> change. Students are prepared for work <strong>in</strong> the public or private sector, <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong><br />

comb<strong>in</strong>ation with other studies, for work <strong>in</strong> journalism media, education, library, <strong>and</strong> <strong>management</strong>.<br />

Grad<strong>in</strong>g scale from 1.0-6.0. Highest grade is 1.0. Lowest pass<strong>in</strong>g grade is 4.0.<br />

The grad<strong>in</strong>g system will be changed as from the autumn term 2003, <strong>and</strong> the grades will be from A to<br />

F. The highest grade will be A, <strong>and</strong> the lowest pass<strong>in</strong>g grade will be E.<br />

Fees<br />

NOK 800,- per semester.<br />
