Arts & Cultural Management Programme/ MA <strong>in</strong> Performance Practice :<br />

Student performance is evaluated through research, a f<strong>in</strong>al paper/thesis <strong>and</strong> practical work/<strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

BA <strong>in</strong> Heritage Management:<br />

Student performance is evaluated through exam<strong>in</strong>ations, papers, a f<strong>in</strong>al paper/thesis <strong>and</strong> practical<br />

work/<strong>in</strong>ternship.<br />

Lecturers<br />

All permanent staff are academics with experience work<strong>in</strong>g professionally <strong>in</strong> the field of arts <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>cultural</strong> <strong>management</strong>. The persons responsible for the study programmes are Kate Malone Smith (BA<br />

<strong>in</strong> Arts & Cultural Management), James Pardoe (BA <strong>in</strong> Heritage Management) <strong>and</strong> Dr Peter Harrop (MA<br />

<strong>in</strong> Performance Practice).<br />

Entry requirements<br />

Arts & Cultural Management Programme/ BA <strong>in</strong> Heritage Management<br />

Applicants should have a secondary school certificate <strong>and</strong> they should be 18 or older.<br />

MA <strong>in</strong> Performance Practice<br />

Applicants should have good first degree <strong>and</strong> professional experience.<br />

Student profile<br />

In the BA Programmes, the average age is 19; there are also some mature <strong>and</strong> overseas applicants.<br />

In the MA Programme, the average age of students is 30 or older <strong>and</strong> they are often professionals <strong>in</strong><br />

their field. International students comprise approximately 20 percent of all students.<br />

Number of students admitted<br />

BA - Maximum of 30 per year.<br />

MA - Maximum of 20 per year.<br />

The Perform<strong>in</strong>g Arts Department has approximately 400 students.<br />

Course fee<br />

BA: UK <strong>and</strong> EU students - EUR 1,720 per annum; non-EU - EUR 10,464.<br />

MA: UK <strong>and</strong> EU students - EUR 1,760 (176 per module); non-EU - EUR 10,464.<br />

Grants or other f<strong>in</strong>ancial support<br />

There are occasional scholarships.<br />
