Profiles France<br />

Applicants should have successfully completed a first year of college studies. Admissions are also<br />

possible directly <strong>in</strong> the second year (licence). An <strong>in</strong>itial selection is made from academic records <strong>and</strong><br />

written applications. Interviews are then conducted to select the students. International applicants<br />

should have a good knowledge of French, as the French courses they will take <strong>in</strong> Dijon (about 6 hours<br />

a week) cannot compensate for an <strong>in</strong>adequate st<strong>and</strong>ard on arrival.<br />

Student profile<br />

The average age of students is 23, with mature students mak<strong>in</strong>g up 10 to 15 percent of classes. Most<br />

are already <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> the arts. There are few <strong>in</strong>ternational students <strong>in</strong> the programmes but most of<br />

are from France.<br />

Number of students admitted<br />

The number is limited to 35 per year; it varies from 27 to 34.<br />

300 USD.<br />

Grants or other f<strong>in</strong>ancial support<br />

Domestic students have access to revenue-based grants. All students have access to revenue-based<br />

rent reimbursement (APL).<br />
