Creek. The required local match for these grants would be secured
though local cash donations.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of
Commissioners hereby authorizes the Saginaw County Parks and
Recreation Commission to make application to the Michigan
Department of Natural Resources for $493,000 for development of
the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail.
After discussion, the vote was:

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the County of Saginaw, State of Michigan, do hereby certify that
the foregoing is a true and complete copy of proceedings taken at
a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of said County,
held on the 27th day of March 2001, insofar as the same relate to
the intent of the Saginaw County Parks & Recreation Commission to
submit an application to the Michigan Department of Natural
Resources for grant monies for development of the Saginaw Valley
Rail Trail project, the original of which is on file in my office.
Public notice of said meeting was given pursuant to and in
compliance with Act No. 267, Public Acts of Michigan, 1976, as
amended.
