PROCLAMATIONS<br />

Chairman Fish designated Sunday, October 21, <strong>2001</strong> as Bowling Day<br />

in the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

PROCLAMATION<br />

WHEREAS, Sunday, October 21, <strong>2001</strong>, <strong>Saginaw</strong> Bowling Hall of<br />

Fame will celebrate its <strong>2001</strong> selections with the inauguration of<br />

its newest members during a ceremonial banquet at the Candlelite<br />

Bowl Banquet Center; and,<br />

WHEREAS, Four outstanding bowlers, selected from more than<br />

fifty eligible candidates were chosen because of the substantial<br />

contributions they have made to the sport of bowling in <strong>Saginaw</strong><br />

<strong>County</strong> during the past fifty-five years; and,<br />

WHEREAS, The <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> Board of Commissioners' is proud<br />

to join with <strong>Saginaw</strong> area bowlers and their families and friends<br />

in acknowledging this year's inductees into the <strong>Saginaw</strong> Bowling<br />

Hall of Fame. The inductees are: ELAINE KRICHER, RON FRUK, RANDY<br />

KLUCK, and ADAM CLAUSS JR.<br />

WHEREAS, As we celebrate this day, we are reminded that the<br />

establishment of the <strong>Saginaw</strong> Bowling Hall of Fame stands as a<br />

tribute to the more than 25,000 bowlers of this area who are<br />

members of the Men's and Women's Bowling Associations. Bowling is<br />

an American sport.<br />

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Robert L. Fish, Chairman of the <strong>Saginaw</strong><br />

<strong>County</strong> Board of Commissioners, in recognition of this worthwhile<br />

organization, do hereby proclaim Sunday, October 21, <strong>2001</strong> as:<br />

"BOWLING DAY" in the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Saginaw</strong>, and in doing ask the<br />

residents of <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> to join us in saluting all the<br />

bowlers, sponsors, and promoters of bowling for the significant<br />

contributions they have made to our community and to the sport of<br />

bowling.<br />

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused<br />

the seal of the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Saginaw</strong> to be affixed this 16th day of<br />

October in the year of Our Lord two thousand one.<br />
