Board of Commissioners June 26, <strong>2001</strong><br />

WHEREAS, Recipients of the loan assistance have committed to<br />

ensure the repayment of the loans by way of legal guarantee.<br />

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, The <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> Board<br />

of Commissioners authorizes its Chairman, Robert L. Fish to apply<br />

for and secure a loan for a maximum of $208,955 from, and enter<br />

into a loan agreement with, the Michigan Department of Environmental<br />

Quality; and,<br />

THAT, The Revitalization Loan will not cause the <strong>County</strong> to<br />

exceed its legal debt limit; and,<br />

THAT, The <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> Board of Commissioners authorizes<br />

repayment of a Revitalization Loan, acknowledges that a default in<br />

repayment of the loan may result in loss of <strong>County</strong> Revenue<br />

sharing, and further acknowledges that loans are secured by the<br />

<strong>County</strong>'s full faith and credit.<br />
