Board of Commissioners February 27, <strong>2001</strong><br />

WHEREAS, this Fund has been designated as the 100% Tax<br />

Payment Fund (the "Fund") by the <strong>County</strong> Treasurer; and<br />

WHEREAS, pursuant to Act 206, upon creation of the Fund the<br />

<strong>County</strong> Treasurer is to act as agent for the <strong>County</strong> to administer<br />

the Fund; and<br />

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the <strong>County</strong> has adopted<br />

a Resolution to Borrow Against Anticipated Delinquent 2000 Real<br />

Property Taxes to continue the Fund for <strong>2001</strong>.<br />

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS<br />

OF THE COUNTY OF SAGINAW, STATE OF MICHIGAN, as follows:<br />

1. Pursuant to Section 87c of Act 206, the <strong>County</strong><br />

Treasurer's office shall receive for administrative expenses in<br />

connection with the Fund and the issuance of General Obligation<br />

Limited Tax Notes, Series <strong>2001</strong> by the <strong>County</strong> such sums as are<br />

provided by law.<br />

2. As agent for the <strong>County</strong>, the <strong>County</strong> Treasurer shall act<br />

pursuant to Act 206 and as further provided in the Resolution to<br />

Borrow Against Anticipated Delinquent 2000 Real Property Taxes<br />

heretofore adopted by the <strong>County</strong> Board of Commissioners.<br />

After discussion, the vote was:<br />

NAYS --- None<br />

ABSENT --- None<br />

A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the Resolution<br />

of Agency Pursuant to Section 87c of Act 206 was adopted.<br />

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting Clerk of<br />

the Board of Commissioners of the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Saginaw</strong>, the State of<br />

complete copy of proceedings taken at a regular meeting of the<br />

Board of Commissioners of said <strong>County</strong>, held on the 27th day of<br />

February, <strong>2001</strong>, insofar as the same relate to the Resolution of<br />

Agency Pursuant to Section 87c of Act 206, the original of which<br />

is on file in my office. Public notice of said meeting was given<br />

pursuant to and in compliance with Act No. 267, Public Acts of<br />

1976, as amended.<br />
