Extension in <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> for ten years supervising staff in<br />

nutrition, childcare and parenting education. She has extensive<br />

experience in early childhood programming.<br />

Extension Parenting Educators<br />

April Bady. April graduated with her Bachelors in Family Community<br />

Services from Michigan State University. For the last year she has<br />

been working for <strong>Saginaw</strong> MSUE on the <strong>Saginaw</strong> Family Child Care<br />

Network project, and as a Childbirth Educator with Covenant<br />

Hospital, <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

Jennifer Carey. Jennifer has her Elementary Education Bachelor<br />

from Central Michigan University. She also has her Early Childhood<br />

Development ZA Endorsement from <strong>Saginaw</strong> Valley State University.<br />

Jennifer has spent a number of years working as a teacher, or<br />

substitute teacher, for Pooh's Corner Preschool, <strong>Saginaw</strong>; Sylvan<br />

Learning Center, <strong>Saginaw</strong>; Floyd Elementary, Midland; and Mission<br />

Glen Elementary, Houston, Texas.<br />

Tanya Grunwell. Tanya has her Bachelors from Michigan State<br />

University in Child Development. She has been a kindergarten<br />

teacher at <strong>Saginaw</strong> Township Community Schools, <strong>Saginaw</strong>, for the<br />

last four years.<br />

Kristine Gulliver. Kristine recently graduated with her Bachelors<br />

in Social Work from <strong>Saginaw</strong> Valley State University. She completed<br />

internships with the United for Kid Children's Assessment Center,<br />

and Child and Family Services of <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

Rachel Meyers. Rachel has her Bachelors from <strong>Saginaw</strong> Valley State<br />

University in Social Work. She has spent the last six years<br />

working as an Assistant Family Worker and a Treatment Specialist<br />

at St. Vincent's of Boysville, <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

April M. Moultrie. April graduated with her Bachelors in Social<br />

Work from <strong>Saginaw</strong> Valley Sate University. April has been employed<br />

as a packager at Genesee Packaging Inc and as a behavior aide at<br />

Krystal Kare Inc. For the last year she has been working for MSU<br />

Extension <strong>Saginaw</strong> as a Program Associate.<br />

Susan Ninke. Susan graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary<br />

Education from Western Michigan University. In past years Susan<br />

has worked as an election inspector in <strong>Saginaw</strong>, a Local Data<br />

Collector in Washington D.C. and was a Media teacher for 19 years<br />

in Swan Valley Schools. The past year Susan has worked as a<br />

Parenting Educator at MSU Extension <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

Holly Tiret. Holly graduated with her Bachelors in Home<br />

Economics/Child Development from San Francisco State University.<br />

In the past Holly has been employed as a Medicare Representative<br />

in the state of Washington, and a HR Assistant at Kelly Temporary<br />

Agency in <strong>Saginaw</strong>. For the past year Holly has been a Baby Care<br />

Instructor at Covenant Health Care and an Office Assistant for<br />

Champagne & Marx Excavating in <strong>Saginaw</strong>.<br />

Kimberly Towne. Kim has a Bachelors in Family Community Services<br />

from Michigan State University. Kim has spent-the last year<br />

working for <strong>Saginaw</strong> <strong>County</strong> MSUE as an AmeriCorps Worker on the 4-H<br />

Club Read project. Prior to joining Extension Kim spent about<br />
