Congress and Convention, Young Adult Director, Wolverine State
Congress and Mentor for youth and college students; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Lewis, a true Christian in every way has a passion
for the protection of human rights, advocacy for children and
those who are under served and serving the Lord. As an active and
dedicated member of the Prince of Peace Baptist Church, she is the
Youth Director, Sunday School Teacher, and Director of the Nursing
Ministry; and,
WHEREAS, Ava’s hobbies include; attending and watching sporting
events, reading, traveling, and enjoying family, friends and life.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Saginaw County Board of
Commissioners does hereby join with the 21st Century Women’s Club
in honoring Dr. Ava E. Lewis as this year’s recipient of the
“Terry L. Clark Community Service Award” for her loyal and
faithful efforts put forth for the betterment of the Saginaw
County Community. We wish her continued blessings and success in
all her future endeavors.
