If we analyze in more details the Macedonianimports in 2008 with Bulgaria we can notice the following trends:Bulgaria, as one of the largest exporters to Macedonia, from 6% in 2007,saw a growth of 20% in 2008 compared to the previous year. In thiscontext the considerable fact is the trend of growth of imports fromRussia, which has been increasing. In 2007, imports increased by 13%compared to the previous year, and in 2008, compared to 2007, it hasincreased by 17%. If we look at the structure of imports, we can noticethat products imported by the Republic of Macedonia from Russia aremostly from the group of “fuels”, the share of which is 97% of the total342
