Somestructural reforms had been about taking political risks, making painfuldecisions. According to Nika Gilauri such risks have been incurred andsuch decisions have been made for good reasons. ”Georgia’s stability andgrowth performance against the backdrop of the global economic rollercoasterproves that we in Georgia did many things right“[1].Tourisminfrastructure is being deeply promoted by the government considering itto be the major factor to change Georgia into the most attractive touristplace for visitors. The aim of the paper is to revise the tourism sectordevelopment in Georgia in recent years, particularly in Adjara and suggestsome ways how to improve the service quality in order to providehigh quality service and meet requirements.Current SituationGeorgia’s growth rate in recent years has been high. After 6.3% realgrowth in 2010, in 2011 it was grown by an estimated 6.5%, it is expectedto grow further in 2012. There were very deep and structural reformsimplemented. Laws that were easy to understand and easy to implementwere created. The tax system was simplified and liberalized. Allconditions to favour business were created. The World Bank recentlyrecognized Georgia as the top reformer over the last 5 years, globally.Considering that there are no natural resources to bank on, the governmenthas chosen other way out.
