Figure 13.17Cumulative Stage GRG versus Grind Size for Gold and SilverAccording to the GRG/GRS test results, Knelson conducted simulations to determine thegold recovery from a centrifugal gravity concentration/intensive leaching circuit and froma gravity concentration/tabling circuit. Total gold recovery by a centrifugal gravityconcentration/intensive leaching circuit was estimated in a range from 39 to 71%depending on the capacity of centrifugal concentrators and gold occurrence (native goldor electrum). When using a gravity concentration/tabling circuit, the expected goldrecovery would be between 32 and 65%. The simulation results are summarized in Table13.20.Table 13.20 Gravity Concentration Modelling Results (2012)EquipmentFeed toGravity(t/h)CirculationLoadTreated(%)ConcentratingCycle Time(min)GravityRecovery(% total Au)GravityConcentrate(kg/d)(g/t)Centrifugal gravity concentrate upgrading by acacia reactor, assuming gold is present as native goldXD20 40 11 15 46 1,920 12,445XD30 80 21 20 56 2,520 11,500QS40 140 37 30 63 2,976 10,8572 x QS40 280 74 30 69 5,952 5,9652XQS48 365 97 30 71 6,240 5,863Centrifugal gravity concentrate upgrading by tabling, assuming gold is present as native goldXD20 40 11 15 38 1,920 10,168table continues…Pretium Resources Inc. 13-28 1291990200-REP-R0012-02Feasibility Study and Technical Report on the BrucejackProject, Stewart, BC
