I have been involved in resource evaluation for20 years and consulting for 15 years, including resource estimation of primary golddeposits for at least 5 years. I have been involved in gold exploration and miningoperations for at least 5 years. I am a “Qualified Person” for the purposes of NationalInstrument 43-101 (the “Instrument”).• My most recent personal inspection of the Property was June 3 to 8, 2013. A prior visitto the property was completed on February 15 and 16, 2012 for two days.• I am responsible for the preparation of Sections 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 4.0 to 12.0, 14, 23, 25.1,26.1, 27.11, and 28.2 of the Technical Report.• I am independent of Pretium Resources Inc. as defined by Section 1.5 of theInstrument.• I have had prior involvement with the Property that is the subject of the TechnicalReport.
