For PDA systems with 57X08 and 57X18 type photomulitpliers, the PM
high voltage will be switched of in case of excessive PM anode current. It is
not possible to reduce the high voltage gradually, because this would
require a new phase calibration for each new setting of the PM high voltage.
The Scope display’s triggering and scaling are explained in Chapter 5 –
Group poperties.
The CPU load can be checked by the Windows Task Manager’s
Performance tab. If it is near 100% during acquisition, it is recommended to
set Scope display Off, and do disable as many objects as possible during
acquisition. See chapter 5 for details.
13. Before taking data, you should open the Phase plot graph to check the
alignment of the receiving optics with the transmitting optics. Right-click on
BSA application in the project explorer, click on New and select phase
plot. During a measurement, the following graph appears:
For further details about the Phase Plot, please refer to chapter 5.
14. To display a velocity and a diameter distribution histograms, right-click on
the BSA Application icon in the project explorer and select New. Select
