PDA receiving optics<br />

PDA Particle/Medium<br />

For now, select 1D Optics even if your optical system is 2D or 3D. Later on,<br />

when you are familiar with the software, you can revert to the Dantec Device<br />

Configuration utility <strong>and</strong> configure according to your equipment.<br />

Type or select from the drop down lists the appropriate beam parameters of<br />

your system. Click OK if you are using a LDA system <strong>and</strong> skip the PDA<br />

receiving optics part or click on PDA Receiver if you have a PDA system.<br />

For the PDA, select the PDA Receiver from the Optics properties. This<br />

opens the following window:<br />

Select the receiver type <strong>and</strong> type or select the appropriate parameter values.<br />

Further details are given in chapter 5.4 <strong>and</strong> 5.5. Slit width is available for<br />

112mm DualPDA <strong>and</strong> 112mm FiberPDA optics. Window type is only<br />

available with FiberPDA <strong>and</strong> 112mm FiberPDA probes. To configure the<br />

Window type, please refer to chapter 5.5.<br />

Click on PDA Particle/Medium from the Optics properties <strong>and</strong> type or<br />

select the parameters of the following window. The default setting is water<br />

droplets in air.<br />
