6.7.2 Hardware connections
If this option was not purchased at the same time as the processor, the
processor must be returned to the distributor for installation of the hardware.
The BSA processor software must be updated to version 2.30 or later. This is
done by downloading from the CD comprising BSA Flow software and
processor software, or from Dantec Dynamics’ web site.
Figure 6-72 BSA analog/digital input: rear panel connections
Analog inputs can be connected to the analog input connector shown in
Figure 6-72 via the adapter shown in Figure 6-71.
Analog inputs Up to 4 analog signals can be sampled on the input connectors labelled
Channel 1 to 4.
Signal Levels The Analog input option supports bipolar signals:
Bipolar: ±10 V
Synchronisation Synchronisation of A/D-data with the LDA-data is done internally in the
processor.
The analog input board must be associated with a coincidence group.
If two boards are used, they can be associated with different coincidence
groups.
The analog data are acquired when bursts are detected in the coincidence
group.
For set-up please refer to the next section.
