6. In the <strong>BSA</strong> F/P Application window, a tree structure including icons<br />

Processor, Group 1, LDA 1 <strong>and</strong> Optical LDA System appears.<br />

Clicking on one of the icons will display its properties in the Property<br />

Editor pane.<br />

If your processor has more than one velocity channel, the Device List will<br />

display all channels (LDA1, LDA2, LDA3).<br />

For this exercise, configure as 1D: Right-click on the Processor icon,<br />

select Configuration Manager <strong>and</strong> select 1D LDA.<br />

7. In the <strong>BSA</strong> Application window click on Processor. The Processor<br />

properties are common for all velocity channels in the processor.<br />

In the property editor, for the User interface property select Normal. This<br />

will show the normal properties for the Processor, Group1 <strong>and</strong> LDA1,<br />

sufficient for most applications.<br />

The Advanced user interface shows an extended list of properties. These<br />

are described in chapter 5.<br />

The screen dump above shows Analog input, Analog monitor, Sync.<br />

input signals <strong>and</strong> Sync. output signals that are options.<br />
