You can enter a more descriptive name for the object before adding it to the<br />

project, or you can edit the name in the project explorer. The name can at<br />

any time be changed using the Rename comm<strong>and</strong> in the context menu for<br />

the object in the project explorer. A short description of the object is also<br />

shown in the New Object dialog. For templates this description is the same<br />

as the one you entered in the Save As Template dialog <strong>and</strong> the name of the<br />

template is the same name as the one you used when saving the template.<br />

The items in the list depend on the active object. If the active object exposes<br />

an output format that another object can underst<strong>and</strong> this object can be placed<br />

after the active object. Some of the object do not expose any output formats<br />

<strong>and</strong> they cannot have any child objects attached. Most of these objects are<br />

plot objects like Histogram, 2D Plot, Vector Plot etc. The Export object<br />

does not own an output format either, it will also be the last in its branch.<br />

You can attach more child-objects to one parent object, as long as the rules<br />

above are applied.<br />
