The View menu controls which elements are displayed on the screen.<br />

You can hide or show the following elements (please refer to the beginning<br />

of this chapter)<br />

• The Toolbar<br />

• The Status Bar<br />

• The Project Explorer<br />

• The Message Window<br />

• The Property Editor<br />

The last three can also be hidden or shown using tool buttons, see section<br />

4.6.<br />

Synchronize Is grey (disabled) per default. If Automatic synchronization is set to Off<br />

under the Tools - Options – Advanced menu, it becomes active when a<br />

window in the workspace is selected. Synchronize means that the object (in<br />

the project explorer) corresponding to the highlighted view (in the<br />

workspace) is selected.<br />

If synchronize is not selected, the object highlighted in the project explorer<br />

remains the same irrespective of which view is selected in the workspace.<br />

Select position Opens the following dialog:<br />
