5.4 Optical LDA System properties<br />

The software supports up to three beam systems each representing a<br />

measured velocity component. Each beam system has a set of properties as<br />

shown.<br />

The beam systems should be associated with velocity channels in the<br />

processor.<br />

With <strong>BSA</strong> F/P processors, the default is that Beam system U1 is associated<br />

with velocity channel LDA1, etc. If you want a different relationship<br />

between optics <strong>and</strong> processor channels, start the Dantec Device<br />

Configuration (right-click in the <strong>BSA</strong> Application window or start it from<br />

the Windows Control Panel), <strong>and</strong> select the Bindings tab:<br />
