4.8 Workspace Workspace Figure 4-35 The About dialog with software version. By scrolling down, information about the dongle, installed and enabled add-ons can be found. The workspace is the “output window” of the software, where data is presented in the form of lists or graphs. It is also where the BSA F/P Application is displayed. The workspace is similar to the desktop of Windows: • it can hold multiple windows, • a window is selected by clicking on it • a window can be maximised, minimised and closed by clicking buttons in the upper right corner of it A window can be activated 4-30 BSA Flow Software: The user interface
4.9 Message window • by clicking on it, or • by clicking on the corresponding object in the project explorer In this software, and additional feature is available: A window can be disabled by right-clicking on its icon in the Project Explorer, and selecting Disable: This will hide the window, and the icon in Project Explorer will be grey to indicate that this is not available: To enable the window again, repeat the procedure above – the function shifts between disabled and not disabled When disabled, no calculation or updating of the object takes place. This may be useful for defining a project including analysis and presentation objects off-line. Windows can be disabled to have as may resources as possible available for the acquisition, and be enabled afterwards for the analysis. The Message window constitutes an output window to the user.
