1. After a moment object, create a profile plot and select the “input parameter” for the X-axis and the AD mean for the Y-axis (see profile plot description in chapter 6.1.6). 2. From the profile plot properties adjust the scaling to the part of the graph you want to apply the curve fit calculation. Then transpose the profile plot (see profile plot description in chapter 6.1.6). 3. From the profile plot, select the polynomial curve you want to use for the curve fit and click on the run icon . . The fitted curve is automatically displayed (red curve) on top of the profile plot. 4. Right click the mouse on the profile plot and select Copy Curve Fit to copy to a clipboard and display the curve function coefficient in the message window. The R2 coefficient is the R squared coefficient caluclated from the least squares method. A R2=100 indicate a perfect fit. 5. To use the fitted curve function as a transfer function for the Analog/Digital input, go in the Analog/Digital input properties and press the paste coefficients button to paste the coefficients in the corresponding channel. 6.10 Mobile system Monitor option The Mobile System Monitor option (62N540) includes a scope mode and a traverse controller mode. The scope mode allows viewing of Doppler bursts, anode current and high voltage of photomultipliers on all channels. Acquisition parameters such as data rate, sample number, validations (for LDA and PDA) are also displayed. The traverse mode allows moving a traverse continuously or step by step. The wireless pocketPC can be connected to the BSA F/P Processor and acquisition PC via a wireless router and standard Ethernet connections. Figure 6-92 Wireless PocketPC and Mobile system Monitor Option (62N540) This tool is used to align the optics for checking signal quality (data rate, signal validation etc.) Dantec Dynamics now offers the possibility of having this tool and a traverse control on a wireless Pocket PC. The Mobile System Monitor enables you to have the acquisition PC closer to your experimental set-up and align the optics while checking the signal quality. 6.11 BSA Processor Driver Option The BSA Processor Driver option (62N550) allows to integrate the BSA Processor into any modern measurement and development environment and to utilize all the features of your BSA Processor including setting up, validating, acquiring and data handling.
