Weighting Which weighting-scheme to use is selected in the property editor of the<br />

Moments object (See Figure 5-67).The property Weighting can be set to<br />

either None or Transit Time. The former corresponds to arithmetic<br />

weighting, while the latter mean that transit time weighting is used, see the<br />

section above.<br />

Selected channels The property Selected channels determine which velocity components are<br />

included in the calculation: Left-Click the Value-field <strong>and</strong> then click the<br />

button to activate the dialog Select Channels shown in Figure 5-68:<br />

In this example one velocity component <strong>and</strong> two analog inputs are available,<br />

but only the LDA1 velocity is included in the moments-calculation. In<br />

Figure 5-68 the options are LDA1, AD1 <strong>and</strong> AD2, but if the parent object<br />

had been Transform, it would have been U <strong>and</strong> V – the names usually used<br />

for orthogonal velocity components.<br />
