• right-click the Traverse Server<br />

• select Save <strong>and</strong> specify a name for the traverse, for example lab. It<br />

will be saved with the name lab.cfg.<br />

• Close <strong>BSA</strong> <strong>Flow</strong> <strong>Software</strong><br />

• Open Dantec Device Configuration from the Control Panel<br />

• Click on Traverse – click on Properties<br />

• Select Configuration File <strong>and</strong> write lab in the box:<br />

• Next time you define a project in <strong>BSA</strong> <strong>Flow</strong> <strong>Software</strong>, the traverse<br />

properties will be those defined in the lab.cfg file.<br />

4.10.3 Data acquisition, LDA, step-by-step procedure<br />

The description below is for a 1 channel LDA system.<br />

Assumptions:<br />

• optics <strong>and</strong> the traverse system have been configured<br />

• 40 MHz Bragg cell is used<br />

• all cable connections have been made<br />

• the <strong>BSA</strong> <strong>Flow</strong> <strong>Software</strong> has found the <strong>BSA</strong> processor<br />

• the measurement volume is located at a point in the flow<br />

• the laser is running<br />

• particles are present in the flow<br />
