By running the histogram object after changing the X-axis properties, the histogram will be calculated from the new bin width and new minimum and maximum particle velocity or diameter. For further information about the histogram calculations, the user will refer to chapter 7 (Mean diameters, Size histograms and algorithms for concentration and flux measurements) Marker The property Show Marker can be set to None, Mean, RMS or 3xRMS, and provides the option of showing a marker in the histogram. The marker is a red vertical line (default) indicating the Mean value, Mean+RMS or Mean+3xRMS. 5.11.2 Probe volume correction (for PDA only) BSA Flow software includes statistical Probe Volume Correction (see chapter 7.11 Probe Volume Correction) for size histogram. To apply this correction, select yes. In off-line process, you may have to run again the histogram object by pressing the run. Note The PVC is only available for size histograms in % or pdf and is calculated from visible data within the histogram plot. These properties determine the minimum and maximum values on the X-, and Y. They are used as inputs for histograms in Counts percent, Counts Cumulative Percent, Probability Density Function, Surface Percent, Surface Cumulative Percent, Volume Percent, Volume Cumulative Percent. Y min., Y max. axis respectively. If the properties X scaling and Y scaling are set to Automatic, the minimum and maximum values will be adjusted automatically to match the data shown.
