Recommended acceptance angles of the receiving optics:<br />

Reflection: optimum near ϕc1–10°, near 57°.<br />

Can be used from ϕc1–15° to ϕc1–5°: 52° to 62° with either polarization<br />

but parallel best.<br />

For a droplet of freon in air the situation is very similar to that of a latex<br />

sphere in water (see: 7.7.10 Latex sphere in water).<br />
