between the two Doppler bursts depends on the size of the particle, provided<br />

that all other geometric parameters of the optics remain constant. In Figure<br />

7-16 we see two particles of different size. The phase difference between the<br />

Doppler bursts from the large particle exceeds that of the smaller particle.<br />
