To check for connection, right-click on the Traverse server icon and select Status. If you get the following dialog there are the following possibilities: Possible reason Remedy Incorrect type of traverse specified Close BSA Flow, open the Dantec Device Configuration and specify the correct type of traverse system. Open BSA Flow again. The GPIB parameters are not correct Go through the GPIB set-up as described in chapter 3. 8.5.1 Information about the software and hardware configuration of your system. To get this information, open the Help menu and select About BSA Flow Software... About BSA Flow Software... provides information about the version and build no. of BSA Flow software, processor software, the software key, the dongle serial number, and which options are enabled. Dantec requires this information connection with trouble shooting. Use the Copy Information button to transfer this information to e.g. an email message. Please send a detailed description of your problem including this information and project files to you distributor’s service department. Figure 8-9 The About dialog with software version. By scrolling down, information about the dongle, installed and enabled add-ons can be found. 8.5.2 Information about exiting projects It is possible to verify project and software compatibility by comparing software versions.
