Older systems use an AXIOM 5215 board.<br />

Note AXIOM boards cannot be used under Windows NT. An upgrade kit is<br />

available.<br />

Recent systems use a National Instuments DAQ-PCI-6503 board.<br />

The address of the AXIOM board must correspond with the hardware<br />

address switch setting. The factory default is 220.<br />

Caution Incorrect address setting for the AXIOM board may lead to uncontrolled<br />

traverse movements<br />

The switch settings on the AXIOM I/O board as delivered (0=ON, 1=OFF):<br />

Base address 10001000 = 220 Hexadecimal<br />

Jumper J1: DIS1 jumper mounted<br />

Jumper J2: DIS2 jumper mounted<br />

Jumper J3: X jumper mounted<br />

Jumper J1, J2 <strong>and</strong> J3 must never be changed. The base address can be<br />

changed if necessary because of other boards using the same address.<br />
