• Formatted text (Space delimited) (*.txt). This format exports in Windows
ANSI text files. The delimiter between data columns is a space " ".
• Text (MS-DOS) (*.txt). This format exports in OEM ASCII text files.
The delimiter between data columns is the tabulator "\t". This format is
useful when exporting files that need to be read by another system using
the standard ASCII character set.
• CSV (Comma delimited) (*.txt). This format exports in Windows ANSI
text files. CSV stands for comma-separated-values. The delimiter
between data columns is determined by the Windows Regional Settings
of the PC exporting the data. Please note that the character of the List
Separator is used and not (as maybe expected) the Decimal Symbol.
• Excel® Export (*.xls). This format exports in Microsoft® Excel® file
format. The format is known as BIFF2, which goes back to Excel version
2.1 for Microsoft® Windows®. Using this older format ensures that
newer versions Excel can open the file. Remember that because Excel
only supports up to 65.000 rows, this is the maximum number of rows
exported.
• XML generates files in .xml format, readable by an Internet browser.
Include row numbers The property Include row numbers is used to determine whether or not a
sequential numbering of the exported data should be included. By default
this property is set to No/Off.
Include header Additional header information is added to the exported files if the Include
header is Yes/On. For each exported file the traverse position and the
project name is included in the header. Note that if this is not selected
ASCII-export does not include any header information other than the column
names.
Export measurements
Properties By ticking this option, the configuration properties will be exported in a
separate file. This file includes all the properties, processor, group,
channels, and optics or can be customised by the user. Please, refer to
chapter 5 Output properties about how to customize the properties export.
5.9.2 Filter
The measurement properties file is exported in the same folder as all the
other exported files.
The name of the exported file is constructed as: the {Base file name}.all.xml
and is in xml format. .
The properties Filter displays (read only) the format of the exported file as
chosen in the Export Data file dialog box.
