4.9 Message window<br />

• by clicking on the corresponding object in the project explorer<br />

In this software, <strong>and</strong> additional feature is available:<br />

A window can be disabled by right-clicking on its icon in the Project<br />

Explorer, <strong>and</strong> selecting Disable:<br />

This will hide the window, <strong>and</strong> the icon in Project Explorer will be grey to<br />

indicate that this is not available:<br />

To enable the window again, repeat the procedure above – the function shifts<br />

between disabled <strong>and</strong> not disabled<br />

When disabled, no calculation or updating of the object takes place. This<br />

may be useful for defining a project including analysis <strong>and</strong> presentation<br />

objects off-line. Windows can be disabled to have as may resources as<br />

possible available for the acquisition, <strong>and</strong> be enabled afterwards for the<br />

analysis.<br />

The Message window constitutes an output window to the user. The message<br />

window can have many sections whereas the most common sections are<br />

• Status<br />

• Acquisition<br />
