5.6.4 Medium properties
Medium name: allow the user to select a medium in the library of media.
See chapter 4.10.2.
Medium refractive index. Refractive index of the medium the user wants to
measure.
Medium specific gravity. Gravity of the medium the user wants to measure.
Medium kinematic viscosity. Kinematic viscosity of the medium the user
wants to measure.
Note The last two parameters are for documentation purposes.
5.7 Traverse properties
5.7.1 Lightweight traverse properties
The traverse system can be controlled from the PC running BSA Flow
(“normal operation”), or via a network from another PC to which the
traverse system is connected (“remote operation”).
Setting up normal operation is described in section 5.7.1 and 5.7.4.
Setting up remote operation is described in section 5.7.9.
The following applies, when the Lightweight Traverse has been selected in
the Dantec system configuration.
The traverse properties are accessed by clicking on the traverse icon in the
BSA Application. In the property editor, the box on top includes the
following choices, when Lightweight Traverse has been selected:

Selection of Traverse Driver displays the following:

In the value fields, select the settings that correspond with the COM port
used for connection to the traverse.
Up to three axes can be configured. Lightweight channel 1 refers to the
axis connected to the first slot (from left) in the traverse controller.
