6.8.6 Data output
6.8.7 Specifications
Figure 6-88 Analog monitor channel properties
A Moments object is required to access the Analog monitor data. To access
the data, a List, a graph or an Export object can be added.
The analog data can be further processed and displayed the same way as the
other data from the Moments object.
Input impedance: 10 kΩ
Resolution: 12 bit, 2.5mV
Range, unipolar: 0V to 10.24V
Full scale accuracy: ±1%
Linearity: ±0.05%
Maximum safe input voltage: ±20V
Sampling frequency: 8 Hz
Inputs are not low-pass filtered, so high-frequency noise at the inputs can
affect accuracy. Many “slow” tranducers will have an upper frequency limit
of less than 4 Hz, in which case the Nyquist sampling theorem is satisfied.
If the signal may contain frequencies higher than 4 Hz, it should be passed
through an anti-aliasing filter (low-pass filter) with a cut-off frequency of 4
Hz, to avoid errors due to under-sampling.
6.9 LIF and Parametric Analysis Add-on
This add-on is designed to do calibration for concentration or temperature
LIF measurements. It can also be used to do parametric analysis study like
the influence of injection pressure on the particles velocity.
Installing the “LIF and parametric analysis add-on” adds
• a 4 th column in the measurement position table for the input
parameters
• a curve fitting in the Profile plot object
