I have recently signed my third speaker. I’m very anxious to build my
“dream team” of speakers – but I am going to be choosy about whom
I work with. Other important thought leaders such as Zig Ziglar and
Dennis Whitley have much to offer the Chinese business community,
and I really want them to share their wisdom while it is still available.
The important lesson I’ve learned from all this is one I want to pass on
in this chapter. If I had not asked about the bracelets my brother’s family
was wearing – and if I had not followed up on that information – I
would not be realizing my professional goals at this minute. How many
opportunities do we all walk past every day – just because we don’t
recognize and act on them?
Through global connections, I feel I am helping to influence the Chinese
business community in an exciting and proactive manner – as well
as helping it to the next level. My dream of working with people in a
profound way is finally coming true.
The whole world is our marketplace now – and by exploring it to the fullest,
we can find amazing new prospects we never even dreamed existed.
