Imagine yourself walking into a boardroom. There are twelve chairs
around a large wooden table and a white board at the front of the
room. As you pull out a chair to sit down, you think about your last
meeting and the dozens of emails awaiting your response. You just finished
two back-to-back meetings and gulped down a sandwich at your
desk. Your colleagues enter the room with notepads in one hand; some
have coffees in the other. You, like many of your colleagues, have another
meeting after this one.
Now, imagine lacing up your running shoes and putting on your sunglasses.
You open your front door to the glorious sunshine and literally
inhale nature’s beauty as you step outside. As you begin to move you
can feel the positive energy begin to flow through you.
Both of these scenarios are the beginning of brainstorming sessions.
Which will be more productive? Inspiring? Which would you rather
