I’m just staring at my laptop and typing a letter, but I did vividly imagine
the former “movie – worthy” scenario) and asking “how?” How
did you do it? I would really appreciate your help. You can use this
letter much later in life when I become very famous to get me to return
the favor, but for now I’m unashamedly asking for your help. I do
hope you reply as I’m keeping my fingers crossed, praying and fasting
and covering my self with the proverbial sackcloth and ashes…(alright
again, not so dramatic, I’ll just be checking my mail every other hour).

Now you might realize why my protégée’s jaw dropped after she read the
letter, but I was serious and I must have done some thing right because
less than a week later he replied and his mail began with the words…
“Your letter was so funny…”
That was the beginning of one of the most fruitful business relationships I

day was made, of course I could. It turned out to be more work than
I anticipated and some days I lost track of time as evening turned to
morning, other days I did not remember to eat because I was so caught
up in work as I was determined to prove that he had not wasted his time
