your best. Here is an important list for you:
tHe top ten tHingS BUSineSS oWnerS can do to
Stay HealtHy:
1. Get plenty of sleep. Plan your day to allow for an hour of
relaxation time before bed and 8 hours of sleep at night.
2. Limit your sugar intake. Plan your meals and snacks to
incorporate natural whole foods such as meat, fruit, and
vegetables. If the food comes from this earth and not a factory,
you can eat it! Prepare your meals in advance to make this
easier, and if you find yourself craving sugar, try adding more
protein to your diet. It should help.
3. Eating on the Go. Make sure you eat three meals a day and
prepare before attending lunch meetings. Review the restaurant
menu online to find healthy options before heading out the door.
Find healthy restaurants near your office and suggest them when
you are planning a meeting.
4. Exercise at least 30 minutes per day. If you are just starting
out with exercise, make small changes first. Take the stairs
instead of the elevator. Take the parking space furthest from
the entrance and walk. Get out of your chair and stretch several
times a day. Eventually have the goal of walking at least 30
minutes a day.
5. Learn how to use supplements. Supplements can help you
gain energy. They can protect and help heal your body, but it is
important to understand how to best use them. Ask your physician
or read more of our insights on this topic on our website.
6. Deal with burnout before it happens. It happens to the best
of us. You have a big project or goal, and you put all of your
resources toward it. You start losing your normal routine and
working longer. If you are not careful, anxiety and fatigue will
step in. Be sure to stop burnout before it happens. If things start
feeling too intense, take at least half a day off to recalibrate. You
will be much more productive when you return.
