giving to others and low and behold, you have stumbled on another
law. When you give you always receive. So the final choice I would ask
you to consider is to never give up!!
Be thankful!! Choose to be a giver, understanding that it will always
come back. Perhaps not immediately, maybe not in the form you expect,
but always in a way that will improve your life.
I am thankful for the life I have had. I have had great success, been on
the top of mountain peaks and I have had lows; I’ve been in the trenches,
and when I look back, it was all from making good or bad choices
– choices which honored my core values, or those times I turned away
from them.
I still have much I wish to accomplish in this life, but I pray I have
learned the lesson to make choices that stay in alignment with my priorities
and core values.
In closing this chapter I would be foolish to think that you won’t make
some bad decisions, and to that I would say “winners don’t always
make the right decisions but they make their decisions right.”
The more you understand priorities and core values, the more you
keep your choices in alignment with those values, and the greater your
chance to enjoy the extraordinary life – a life that is more than abundant
– and that is a promise from a much higher source than me.
ACTION EXERCISE: Write out your priorities and rank them from
top to bottom. Then list your core values. Read and re-read them as
you think of important decisions that are coming your way. Then make
a wise choice and start living and enjoying an extraordinary and meaningful
