PUSHING TO THE FRONT
the first sale at any cost. We worked hard for the first few days with our
staff to get the first deal. Finally our break came, we made a website for
our next-door business for $120. We celebrated for months. One year
later, we were frustrated and we wanted to become rich quickly. We
were working hard, but we were spending all that came in.
With luck and hard work, we were able to land a deal to make 20,000
T-Shirts for a large company in less than a month. This was a $100,000
deal. We worked for 10-12 hours a day and our staff increased from 5 to
30 working on 24-hour shifts. We achieved the project and delivered ontime.
We received our payments, calculated our profits and started spending.
We paid off some debt, paid rent for 6 months, and had payroll for
6 months as well. No money was left for luxury or personal satisfaction.
We were frustrated, angry, and resented all that wasted energy.
our business to becoming rich. We moved our focus from a goal outside
of ourselves, to a goal focused on us and our personal satisfaction.
Now I delicately monitor my emotions and my focus to simplify my goals,
simplify the process of achieving them and celebrate small successes every
day. Below are the Top Seven techniques that I use to be and feel wealthy
every day of the goal-achieving process. I have also built a website to share
these techniques and others on: www.IAmWealthyToday.com
To be able to enjoy the process of achieving your goals, you have to remove
yourself from them. What this means is that you should do what you
do either because you enjoy it or because you want someone else to enjoy
the outcome of your work. If you are working towards a financial goal that
you feel you will enjoy spending once reached, then let me tell you that
you will want more once you get there. You will always feel dissatisfied
about achieving any financial goal. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have
financial goals. You can have financial goals, but for the right reasons.
Make your goals in a way so as to share the benefit from achieving them
with others. For example, you can have a financial goal to improve the
livelihood of your family (you included). You can have another finan-
